Continuous Construction Improvement

On March 25, 2026, City Council approved motion MN26-2, Continuous Improvement in Construction Practices. The motion brought forward by Mayor Chad Bachynski directs Administration to complete a review of construction processes, practices and project delivery in Regina.

As part of this review, Administration will be looking at things like extended construction hours of work, procurement approaches, engagement and communications and coordination practices among project partners and utility providers

Why Your Input Matters

Those who live, work, travel and build in Regina experience construction projects from different perspectives. Input will help identify opportunities for improvements.

Public engagement will take place from October 7 to November 4, 2026. Findings and recommendations will be presented to City Council in early 2027.
