Downtown Action Plan

Regina’s Downtown Action Plan is ready for an update to achieve the City’s vision for the City Centre to be a vibrant, inclusive destination that attracts residents, visitors and investment.

A thriving Downtown benefits everyone. Downtown is the heart of the community, offering amenities, cultural events and activities while also generating taxes that help fund the services residents rely on every day. When Downtown succeeds, the rest of the city benefits.

Downtowns are also evolving. This public engagement will help shape the Action Plan and identify opportunities for the City and Downtown partners to support revitalization of Regina’s Downtown.

Why Your Input Matters

We all play a role in making Downtown a place where people want to visit and connect all year. The City is working on initiatives to address things like safety, maintenance and infrastructure to support development. Downtown businesses and organizations also offer events, programs and services that attract visitors.

We want your ideas on how to improve Downtown with a focus on actions and improvements over the next five years.
