The project is a study of Victoria Avenue between Broad Street and Arcola Avenue that will assess transportation, accessibility, infrastructure, streetscape, and mobility improvements to support future growth and redevelopment along the corridor.

Victoria Avenue is a key transportation and transit corridor identified in the Official Community Plan and Transit Master Plan. The project provides an opportunity to plan for future corridor improvements while coordinating necessary infrastructure upgrades, including aging underground services and lead service replacement.

No final design decisions have been made. The project is currently in the functional design phase, where technical analysis and public feedback will help identify opportunities, challenges, and potential improvement options.

You can provide feedback by participating in the online survey, submitting questions through the Be Heard Q&A tool, attending the Open House, or participating in stakeholder engagement activities throughout the project.

The public survey will be available from October 12 to October 30, 2026.

The Open House is planned for the week of November 23, 2026. Additional details will be posted on the Be Heard Regina project page.

Feedback will help the project team understand community priorities, identify opportunities and concerns, and inform future corridor planning, design recommendations, and project decision-making.

The Victoria Avenue Functional Design Project is currently focused on planning and design. Construction has not yet been approved. Subject to study findings, Council direction, and future budget approvals, construction could begin as early as 2029 and would likely be completed in phases.
