e-Scooter Use Begins in Regina

E-scooters are now permitted in Regina. These are a fun, sustainable way for residents and visitors to get around our city.

The use of personal e-scooters was permitted as of April 26, 2023.

Shared e-scooters are officially here, and are available to rent through the vendor’s apps. See below.

Helmets are mandatory and riders must be a minimum of 16 years old. E-scooters are allowed on park and multi-use pathways, bike lanes, and on roads that have a speed limit of 50 km/hr or less. E-scooters are not allowed on sidewalks and are limited to a maximum speed limit of 24 km/hr on roadways and 15 km/hr on pathways.
