Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback on the Al Ritchie Neighbourhood Land-Use Plan.
The Neighbourhood Land-Use Plan will guide future development decisions in your neighbourhood. The Plan will provide residents, community members, and property developers with information about how your neighbourhood is intended to evolve over time, while keeping what’s important to the community.
Your feedback, coupled with direction from existing policy, has shaped the Draft Plan. View a summary of previous engagement in the resource section of this project page.
This Plan focuses on the type, location and potential design of future buildings in the Al Ritchie community over the next 25 years as our population continues to grow. Based on community input, special character areas in Arnhem Place and Assiniboia Place are specifically addressed.
Next, the draft Land-Use Plan will be taken to Regina Planning Commission and Council for approval in early 2022.
Thank you for joining us on Tuesday, September 28 as we walked through the draft Plan live with City officials. If you missed it, view the presentation recording.
