The City of Regina recently gathered feedback from residents for a recreation centre that will be rebuilt as part of the new North Regina Joint-Use school and a new playground and spray pad for Imperial Park.
Resident and key stakeholder input provided valuable information that will inform the design of the new community centre, future recreational programs offered in the space and playground and spray pad amenities.
The spray pad will open in the spring of 2023 and the Imperial Park playground is set to open in the summer of 2023. The North East Community Centre will be relocated, and its new space will be opened in fall of 2025, contingent on budget approval for the school to proceed with construction.
