May 2025 Engagement Session Updates

The new Indoor Aquatics Facility (IAF) is moving forward and construction is scheduled to start this year. The vision for the new aquatics facility is an accessible, inclusive and sustainable destination that will serve Regina for generations to come. The IAF will provide competition and training amenities as well as recreation and leisure amenities – such as a wave pool, waterslides and a lazy river. The IAF will be located next to the Fieldhouse in the North Central Neighbourhood and will provide community gathering spaces, along with an outdoor playground and spray pad. It will be heated by geothermal energy.

The City of Regina will host drop-in sessions for residents to ask questions and learn more about the design and construction of this community facility.
