Bird Friendly City Committee

Jordan Rustad is the Field Manager at Last Mountain Bird Observatory and is a graduate student at the University of Regina studying urban wildlife. She wears many hats, but they all have birds in common. Her passion for birds started in high school when she banded birds for the first time at Last Mountain Lake. Since then, she has worked with Nature Saskatchewan with their habitat stewardship and other bird monitoring programs, like Important Bird Areas. Jordan's work has taken her all over Saskatchewan, but she's excited to contribute to birds' safety in the city where she lives.
